Single Game Tickets on Sale

September 7, 2010 - American Hockey League (AHL) Oklahoma City Barons

The Oklahoma City Barons, American Hockey League affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers, will begin selling single-game tickets tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. at all Ticketmaster outlets, the team's front office announced today.

Single game tickets range in price from $14 to $36 and are available at all Ticketmaster outlets including the Cox Convention Center Box Office (located in the northeast lobby), online at ticketmaster.com and by phone at 1-800-745-3000. Tickets purchased on the day of the game are subject to a $2 day-of-game charge.

Barons Training Camp Dates Announced

September 7, 2010 - American Hockey League (AHL) Oklahoma City Barons

The Oklahoma City Barons will open their first American Hockey League training camp September 27 at the Cox Convention Center at 10 a.m., the team's front office announced today.

The Barons coaching staff of Todd Nelson and Gerry Fleming left for Edmonton September 7 to take part in all aspects of the Oilers training camp experience, beginning with the Oilers Rookie Camp September 9. Following the rookie camp, they will travel with the team to the Prospects Tournament in Penticton, B.C. Upon their return to Edmonton, Nelson and Fleming will participate in the Oilers main training camp which opens September 17.

All players who are property of the Oilers will participate in the rookie camp, main training camp or both. A sizeable portion of the Barons roster will be sent to Oklahoma City following the conclusion of the Oilers' main camp.

Milwaukee, WI-Milwaukee Admirals President Jon Greenberg announced today that individual game tickets for the 2010-11 regular season will go on sale on Monday, September 20 at 9:00 am.

Fans can purchase tickets at the Bradley Center Box Office, located at the northeast corner of the building, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. Fans can also purchase tickets in person at the Admirals office, located at 510 W. Kilbourn Ave, during the week from 9:00 am-5:00 pm. In addition, tickets can be purchased over the phone by calling Ticketmaster at (414) 276-4545 or by logging on to www.milwaukeeadmirals.com and clicking on tickets.

Rockford, Ill.-Tickets for the Rockford IceHogs fourth campaign in the American Hockey League are on sale now at the Rockford MetroCentre Box Office.

Fans can purchase tickets by calling (815) 968-5222, in person at the MetroCentre Box Office between noon and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, or on the web at www.metrocentre.com. Ticket prices for the 2010-11 regular season are $7, $11, $15, $18 and $21. An arena surcharge will apply to all ticket purchases, day of the game. Rockford's first regular season tilt is set for Saturday, Oct. 9 against the Manitoba Moose at 4:35 p.m.

The IceHogs will play two exhibition contests as well, including on Tuesday, Sept. 28 against the Peoria Rivermen and Friday, Oct. 1 against the Milwaukee Admirals. Tickets for the preseason games are $5 and are also on sale now.

Worcester Sharks Announce Youth Hockey Equipment Giveaway

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President Michael A. Mudd announced today that the Worcester Sharks Youth Hockey Equipment Giveaway presented by weRENTcentralmass.com will be held in the lobby at the DCU Center on Sunday, September 12 from 10AM to 1PM.

Over $10,000 of hockey equipment will be given away for free courtesy of the Worcester Sharks and weRENTcentralmass.com. Slightly used hockey gloves, skates, helmets, and pads will be available for all youth hockey families.
