OHL Scoring Leaders – October 7th

Here are the Ontario Hockey League scoring leaders as of October 7th, 2013. The Owen Sound Attack’s Gemel Smith, a Dallas Stars draft pick leads the league with 14 points in just 7 games. Smith has 10 goals and 4 assists. 2014 NHL Draft prospects are prominent on the current top 20 list. Oshawa’s Michael Dal Colle sits 5th with 5 goals and 8 assists while 2nd year eligible Josh Sterk, a recent addition to the Generals, has 5 goals and 9 assists.

Also in the top 20 scorers is Brendan Perlini who has 12 points for his Niagara Icedogs in 7 games. Jared McCann from the Soo Greyhounds has 7 goals and 4 assists and Sam Bennett from kingston has 10 points in 6 games.

Rounding out the 2014 NHL Draft prospects in the top 20 is Josh Ho-Sang from Windsor. Ho-Sang has 9 points so far for the Spitfires.
