Youngstown Phantoms vs. Green Bay Gamblers (USHL regular Season)

YNG # 8, C, Brown, Cam (2013) Brown displayed fantastic speed and hands to find lanes to rush the puck up on an end-to-end rush, get to the slot and put on an excellent shot from scoring...

Vancouver Giants vs. Kamloops Blazers (WHL Regular Season)

VAN#1 G, Lee, Payton(2014) Definitely had a game to forget tonight. Gave up a goal 10 seconds into the game after a bad defensive break down, and just could not really

Jan 29th, 2013, Portland Winterhawks vs Everett Silvertips (WHL Regular Season)

EVT #15 C Bauml Kohl (2013) Kohl played on and off tonight. He played a decent defensive game, blocking shots and chipping pucks but not enough to stop the Hawks speedy forwards. The lack of size and strength is his biggest weakness along the boards battling for loose pucks.

Jan 12, 2013,Vancouver Giants vs. Kelowna Rockets

VAN#8 LD, Morrison, Tyler(2014) Played a good game for Vancouver today. Received limited minutes on the third pairing, but Morrison showed some good hockey sense throughout the game to jump into the play and join the rush a number of times. A decent skater who will need to work on all areas of his mobility to compensate for his smaller stature. Also needs to work on all areas of his defensive game...

December 9, 2012, Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds @ Sarnia Sting (OHL)

SOO #3 RD Ganly, Tyler (2013) - Tyler's puck play has absolutely come miles since the start of the season. He shows great patience and seems to make the smart play every time. He can get up the ice decently well for a big guy. Ganly showed a willingness on more than one occasion to stand up for his teammates. Ganly will be moving up the draft ranks with play like what we saw today combined with his size and willingness to use it.

World U17: Team Finland vs Team Sweden

December 30 2012, Team Sweden vs. Team Finland (2013 World Under-17)

We had yet another game where Team Sweden outmatched their opponent, they were a much better and more complete hockey club. They took the game 7-3 over Team Finland with two empty-net goals at the end.

SWE #7 D Ollas, Mattsson, Adam (2014) – Adam was very reliable with the puck. He shows poise and confidence when moving the puck up ice or in the offensive zone. He was very reliable and didn’t make many mistakes. Mattsson is physical along the boards and works hard. His skating appears to be the only major concern in his game at this point in time.

SWE #9 F Franzen, Gustaf (2015) – Franzen played an underrated yet very effective role for his team. He made some smart defensive plays on the penalty kill and created his share of turnovers in the neutral zone. He was able to take the puck away from the other team and get his team on the transition. He plays a simple game with the puck and is a decent skater. He was able to go down the wing and exploit the outside lane on the defenseman a couple times. His biggest asset is his smarts: he reads the play well and knows where to go to be effective, with or without the puck.

December 28 2012, Team Sweden vs. Team Ontario (2013 World Under-17 –Exhibition Game)

SWE #3 D Lagesson, William (2014) – Lagesson was Sweden’s best defenseman in this game and was effective in different areas of the game. He did a good job using his body to separate the opposing players from the puck and he won quite a few battles deep in his zone. He was very aggressive on 1-on-1 battles and he took a bad penalty doing it. I also thought he moved very well around the ice and he showed it by joining the rush a few times. He seems to have some interesting tools and the upside to play a solid two-way game. Skating needs work.

SWE #7 D Mattsson, Adam (2014) – Mattson is a big defenseman who showed good shutdown qualities in this game. His size obviously serves him well most of the time, even though he was pushed around a couple times behind his own net. He did a good job using his stick defensively to keep his opponents at bay. He was also effective at blocking shots. You could see he was overwhelmed at times by Team Ontario’s quick and well executed plays.

Kingston Frontenacs vs. Barrie Colts

KNG # 17, C, Kujawinski, Ryan (2013) This was not Kujawinski's best game. He did have some nice puck movement on an odd-man rush for a good chance and was also offering good support in his own end. He had a nice wide drive...
