Dwyer says, "Many guys attending our camp for the first time have shown a lot of potential. Two guys that really stand out are Alexis Pepin and Alexandre Chenier-Allard. In addition, I see development in our returning players so I am pleased with the way camp has gone to date."

This year, the league mandated all teams to begin camp the same time as other years but the beginning of the regular season was delayed by two weeks. With this, like many other teams in the league, the Rocket gave all players still in camp an optional week off. Some players returned home and there's an optional skate each morning at 10 o'clock, in Pownal, for those that stayed. All players will return to the ice on Monday, August 27 and the players will practice every day at 10 o'clock, in Pownal.

The team's next exhibition games are Friday, August 31, in Bathurst and the Titan return the visit to the Charlottetown Civic Centre, Saturday, September 8, for a 7 o'clock start.

After starting with 45 players in camp, the team has been cut down to 28 guys.
