USA Hockey has selected 21 players from the USA Hockey Boys Select 17 Player Development Camp. The players will represent USA from Aug. 8-13 at the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament in Breclav, Czech Republic, and Bratislava, Slovakia. The Ivan Hlinka Tournament is held each August and serves as the unofficial kickoff to the scouting year.
The team features 10 players who helped the U.S. Under-17’s win the Under-17 Five Nations Tournament last summer. They include Sasha Chmelevski, Joey Keane, Ivan Lodnia, Brannon McManus, Mick Messner, Tommy Miller, Ben Mirageas, Clayton Phillips, Cayden Primeau, and Reilly Walsh.
